NFPA 25 requires that inspections, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems be conducted by qualified personnel. The state of Florida has requirements for assessing inspector qualifications but is it enough? Water-based system inspectors are direct customer-facing representatives for contractors. This seminar examines the skills beyond those regarding the “how to” of performing ITM tasks that inspectors should possess to best represent your company while providing these lucrative but potentially high risk services. Inspectors must have the ability to effectively communicate, plan, and execute ITM services in a way the both serves the interests of the customer and their employer.
