Make the trip to Tallahassee

Relationships. Our lives and livelihoods are built upon them. People form bonds with strangers over a hometown, an alma mater or favorite sports team. It is surprisingly easy to become fast friends over such topics. As an industry, we know our friends and we really know our enemies. Our enemies are those who fight against the cure for fires and who take great pride in defeating our efforts to save lives and property. That is why it is imperative that when we have a chance to support a champion for fire safety in Florida’s government, we don’t let the opportunity pass us by.
Ed Hooper studied fire science and emergency medicine at St Petersburg College after which he fought fires for over twenty years in Clearwater. He has termed out after serving as a FL House Representative since 2006 and is running for Senator Latvala’s open seat, who has also termed out.

Ed Hooper, former member of the FL House of Representatives, is running for the open Senate District 16 seat currently held by Jack Latvala.

A high-profile fundraiser is being held this Monday March 6 from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm at the Governor’s Club, 202 South Adams Street, Tallahassee. Take your personal or business check for $50, $100 or more because qualified candidates often lose simply over lack of funding. Not all relationships important to the longevity and success of your business are made by salespeople. Here’s your chance to act. Drive a few hours, demonstrate to Ed Hooper that we are a large voice in FL and that we are a constituency he can count on.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
